The Express on Shaw TV

Bianca SolterbeckBianca Solterbeck
Bianca likes waking up every morning, knowing she's going to meet new people and do everything from whipping up gelato to longboarding, to picking out the perfect pair of gumboots for a rainy Vancouver day.

Most days, Bianca hits the road with her cameraman, Scott and travels around the Lower Mainland to talk to celebrities, athletes and ordinary folks with extraordinary stories.

She chose to go into television reporting because it's challenging, creative and the kind of job that leaves her saying, "I get paid for this?!"

  Erin ShawErin Shaw

Erin has loved reporting from a very young age; her first piece was a review of the New Kids on the Block concert when she was only 12.

She never lost the bug. Her favourite aspect of the job is that every day is different.

From tracking local wildlife to going head to head with local celebs, like Nardwuar the Human Serviette, reporting is never a daily grind.... that, and she gets paid to be nosy.

  Peter KimPeter Kim
Peter enjoys television reporting because it exposes him to people from all walks of life, and thereby broadens his own understanding of the world.

He chose it as a career path because he wanted be involved in a meaningful line of work that could effect positive change in society.

What he enjoys the most is the creative process of storytelling through both words and pictures, and the ability to do something new everyday.
